The vintage Beauford vehicle was courtesy of Laura’s granddad who brought it the entire way from Westmeath in order to chauffeur the couple set for the day – complete with customised number plates! He was not the only one to add a personal contact to the day for the few, their close friend Barry did as Laura walked in the aisle while their 2 other friends, Mary Jo and Lisa, sang the song each during the wedding ceremony too. Also, the music in the ceremony was mainly a key component with the violins and cello giving major Bridgerton vibes to the occasion. Showing off their creative skills too, Ronan made the fabulous wood welcome sign as observed outside the church! The suggestion came while the couple had been abroad in Jamaica within 2019 and Laura states Ronan was so anxious he asked before these people even made it to the primary course! “He pulled out all of the stops by organising a personal dinner for the two people under a gazebo out on the particular water… fairytale stuff! He or she was so nervous he or she dropped to one knee plus proposed before the starter also came out. “Laura opted for elegant black floor-length gowns on her bridal party, and chose Alex Perry dresses from The Off white Closet for her three bridesmaid. The couple said that the most crucial part of their day had been having everyone together as well as the pandemic really emphasised this particular for them. Luckily they were capable to invite 100 guests for their celebration. “The most important thing to us was that most of our family and friends are there. I think Covid really place things into perspective plus taught us not to perspire the small stuff. “When this came to picking a venue, both of these knew Dromquinna Manor was your place they wanted to get married as soon as they laid eye on it. “Dromquinna Manor is undoubtedly an intimate and picturesque location, ” explains Laura. “We felt so relaxed with home there from the moment we all walked in. We cherished the idea of having the entire manor to ourselves and we believe that’s what made it therefore personal and intimate when needed. The roaring open fire, grand piano and wood panelling throughout the manor actually made it ‘the one’ for the winter wedding. “The smooth candlelight, decor and lovely floral arrangements was most created by Flowers From The Key Garden which really amped up the romance of the day.
