If there’s one major trend shaping 2026 events, it’s moving away from traditional, rigid floor plans and embracing the art of the serpentine table. Also known as curved or wave tables, these flowing layouts create an instant sense of modern, editorial luxury while bringing a far more intimate, conversational feel to your guest experience.

Whether configured in a sweeping “S” curve through a tented lawn, wrapped into an intimate full circle, or set as a bold head table, serpentine designs bring an incredible dynamic energy to a room.

At Event Rents, we love being the go-to resource for planners and designers bringing these forward-thinking visions to life. Staying ahead of event trends means ensuring our rental inventory gives you total creative freedom to build setups that leave a lasting impression.

Consider this your sign to rethink your reception layout for your upcoming fall and 2026 celebrations! Reach out to your Event Rents team to explore our table and linen options to start building your dream layout.
